Process
Starting Point
Inherited a Figma file with the main app flows already defined. Onboarding and profile areas were still open and required definition before release.
Reviewed existing work and aligned priorities with the Project Manager to clarify scope and next design steps.
Onboarding Flow
Redesigned the onboarding journey from splash screen to app access, defining the sign-up and login flow.
Focused on clarity and friction reduction by structuring account creation, language selection, and activation steps into a straightforward progression.
Prototyped and refined these interactions through short internal feedback loops with the PM and stakeholders.
User Profile and Settings
Designed a clear and functional user profile, enabling users to manage personal data, language preferences, and key app information such as account and legal details.
Refined layout and interaction details based on internal feedback to improve hierarchy and usability.
Collaboration and Validation
Worked with the Project Manager to present and adjust proposals with key stakeholders.
Collaborated with developers to confirm technical feasibility, particularly for password recovery, error handling, and other edge cases.
Outcome
The onboarding and profile experiences were completed and approved ahead of release, providing a clear and consistent entry point for both new and returning users.
Early alignment between design, product, and tech supported smoother implementation and reduced rework during development.
Learnings
This project reinforced the importance of structured communication and iteration when bridging design and development.
I learned to adapt ideas through feedback, balancing usability with technical constraints, and to view onboarding as a key moment for user trust and clarity.
